Our Story

About Us:

Ever since I was a little girl, I loved being in the kitchen with my grandma. One Thanksgiving Eve, my grandma handed my 12 year-old self chocolate and vanilla box cakes and two jars of frosting. The next day, when the dinner table was all set up, my grandma made me move my “pretty little box cakes” from beside her “scratch cakes.” She said I wasn’t going to “shame” her cakes, because hers tasted better! From then on, I was determined to make pretty cakes from scratch!

Grandma is gone now, but her legacy of good food and cake, with love and togetherness as the main ingredient, lives in me. With real butter, the finest unbleached flour, and my very own homemade vanilla extract blend, I hope that you will allow Konfections by Katie to spread a little love and deliciousness to your home or special event!
